The Colorado Open Golf Foundation administers the Colorado Open golf championships to benefit The First Tee of Green Valley Ranch. Our vision is to teach The First Tee Nine Core Values™; (Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Respect, Confidence, Responsibility, Perseverance, Courtesy, and Judgment) to provide the vehicle through which kids can accomplish their dreams, thrive socially, excel academically and athletically, and become productive members of society with integrity, strong family values and commitment to community.

Wade Wins 15th Annual Women's Open!!
Whitney Wade of Glasgow, KY claimed the championship title at the 2009 Colorado Women's Open! Play concluded on May 29th with Wade at the top of the leader board with a 54-hole total score of 213 (-3). Carrie Morris and partner Shinwoo Lee claimed the Pro-Am Competition title with 26 under par score of 190 and Alison Whitaker of Melbourne, VIC, Australia earned low-amateur honors with a three-day total of 215 (-1). Thank you to all of the players, spectators and wonderful volunteers that supported this event .
